Welcome to The Festive Home Decor. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

About This Site

The Festive Home Decor publishes reviews, comparisons and how-to guides on seasonal decorating: prelit Christmas trees, garlands, flameless candles, ornament storage and fall decor. Everything is written for people decorating their own homes on a normal budget.

Affiliate Disclosure

The Festive Home Decor is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. When you click an Amazon link in our content and purchase a qualifying product, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.

Holiday Decorating Safety

Seasonal decorations bring their own hazards. Read the manufacturer's instructions for every lit product, and do not overload outlets or extension cords. Unplug trees and lit decorations before you go to bed or leave the house, and check cords for damage each year before use.

Keep artificial trees and greenery away from heaters, fireplaces and open flames, since a flame resistant label does not mean fireproof. Use a sturdy step stool or ladder with someone nearby, and secure a tree so it cannot tip. Small ornaments, button batteries and fake decorative pieces can be dangerous to young children and pets, so keep them out of reach and store spare batteries safely.

We update product information periodically, but prices, formulations, packaging, and availability change without notice. Always confirm current details on the product's Amazon page before purchasing.
